Tuesday, September 16, 2008 -- Evening

It was the final night on Big Brother 10. Dan and Memphis have been doing the usual boring, male bonding games over the past four days. Yes, that means, eating, sleeping, and playing practical jokes on each other. Memphis found out during the final two question time with the jury that Dan and Michelle had gone on the trip during the luxury competition. And then Michelle called out Memphis about being in an alliance with her and throwing HOH competitions. Memphis said that maybe he didn't need to win HOH since he made it to the final two. It was very obvious from the beginning that April was on Memphis' side, probably because Dan booted out her sex buddy. I love how Steven called Jerry on his obnoxious behavior. Jerry was the rudest, meanest spirted jerk in the house. Here's how they voted:
Libra: Dan
April: Dan
Michelle: Dan
Ollie: Dan
Rennie: Dan
Keesha: Dan
Jerry: Dan
So Dan won BB10. He did deserve it because he played the game. Who got the $25000 as America's favorite juror? Surprisingly, Jerry was second. His family must have spent alot of money on text messages to get him in second place. Keesha won though, and gets the money. And so ends another season of Big Brother.

Thursday, September 11, 2008 -- Evening

It was eviction night again on Big Brother 10. They dragged out the first HOH competition. I guess they didn't want to make Jerry look as bad as he was in this game because Jerry was out before ten minutes had gone past. Dan was proud of the fact that he threw the final POV. Memphis thought that Dan's act of being mad was great because Memphis though that Jerry really believed it. Then we see Jerry (with bizarre eye movenments) making it clear that he believed the act. Jerry made a dramatic fall off the side of the plane. As Memphis said, he was surprised that Jerry fell off so quickly. Memphis said afterwards that he thought Dan was overplaying the bitter part because they didn't want Jerry to realize that it was obvious. So Dan was wondering why Memphis was holding on so long because it wasn't part of the plan, but Memphis didn't want Jerry to be suspicious and think Memphis was throwing the competition. So Dan won the first HOH. It seems the goal was to get Jerry to throw the second HOH to Memphis because Memphis might be better able to beat Dan. Jerry stupidly thinks there is a nice side to Memphis because he doesn't realize that Memphis is playing him. The second round of HOH was a stupid question competition basically about saying who was HOH and the final nominees. They basically a gathering of cutouts and Jerry and Memphis had to knock down all the houseguests who weren't HOH or final nominees. Jerry was totally lost, as we would have expected. Memphis was worried that he was too slow, but he finished all the rounds in 8 minutes and 35 seconds. It took Jerry 51 minutes and 22 seconds! My gosh! That was so awful. The guy was nothing but a jerk in the house and kept there because he was so easy to beat in competitions. We also got to see Keesha join the others in the jury house. April continued to act like a petty person. I would have thought that having non-stop sex with Ollie in the jury house would have put her in a better mood, but jealousy is a hard emotion to break. The final competition was a complete the question with comments made by the jurors. Dan won the final HOH competition by getting four points to Memphis' two. Of course, Dan evicted Jerry. The final two are the Renegade alliance, and they will get to be in the house alone for the next few days.

Tuesday, September 9, 2008 -- Even Later Evening

After the competition, Jerry was trying to bond with Memphis. It seems that Dan and Memphis are acting as if they are in conflict just to keep Jerry on his toes. There was abit of whispering between the two Renegades. I don't think that Memphis will have any problem getting rid of Jerry in the second round HOH. Although you have to wonder if he will throw it because either Jerry or Dan would take Memphis to the final two. Tricky, tricky!

Post HOH action

Tuesday, September 9, 2008 -- Later Evening

Memphis fell off after 52 minutes so Dan gets the first HOH. Tomorrow should be the second round.

Tuesday, September 9, 2008 -- Bit Later Evening

HA1 HA! Jerry is out of the first round of HOH competition in less than 10 minutes. He has the endurance of...a 75 year old man. What can you expect? It's why Memphis kept Jerry. My question is about Memphis and Dan. Are they really on the outs with each other?

First round of HOH

Tuesday, September 9, 2008 -- Evening

Tonight was live eviction night on Big Brother 10. We got to see how really, really stupid Keesha and Jerry are. They both seem to believe and trust Dan and Memphis. Jerry thinks he now has a tie to Memphis because Jerry believes that Dan betrayed Memphis. Keesha thinks that Dan has her back because Dan didn't put her on the block. Meanwhile, the truth is the complete opposite! It seems from the feeds that Keesha will be the one going home, but we should know for sure in this episode. Dan and Memphis think that Jerry will be easier to beat in the endurance competitions which will guarantee them both final two. We got to see what happened on Dan's trip to a private island with Michelle. Michelle gave Dan a hug and said that she was surprised to find out that it was Dan who picked her. Dan's plan was to show Michelle the charming Dan. Michelle admits that she doesn't know if she trusts Dan, but she's in paradise now, so she is willing to listen. Dan tells Michelle that Memphis, Keesha, and Rennie knew that she was going on the block. Dan asks Michelle if there was any hope for him. Michelle says that she doesn't know, but she alludes to the fact that she might be able to persuade people to Dan's side. Time for the POV competition. It was basically a question game. The houseguests had to climb a veto stairway of 10 steps. Each step had two clues about one houseguest. They had to get the step right before they moved onto the next step. Jerry really sucked at the game (per usual). Dan looked as he was coming to the top to see if he could see who is winning. Dan's plan was to throw the competition so Memphis could win. It was really coming down to Memphis and Keesha on the final clue, and Memphis got it just right before Keesha. Jerry was nowhere close to the top of the steps. Keesha figured out that Memphis was going to evict her. She started crying and told Memphis that he should at least tell her if she was going home. Memphis took himself off and sent Keesha to the jury house. As Keesha was leaving the house and going out the door, Dan whispered in his ear that he took Michelle on the trip. Keesha told Julie that she was quite shocked. Dan also gave Keesha a rock as she left, and it said "hot" on it. So who knows what that is supposed to mean. After Keesha left, Dan told Memphis that he wouldn't take him to the final two, but who knows if that was just to lull Jerry into not competing. It just really sucks that Jerry is in the final three because he was a real jerk to the houseguests and really sucked in most of the competitions. Now it's the start of the first round of the HOH competition. In this round, all are on mini bi-planes. They have to keep their balance on the plane to win. Both Jerry and Dan have jackets on, and all have helmets. It will be interesting to see if Jerry holds out in this competition.

Sunday, September 7, 2008 -- Evening

I watched Big Brother 10 this evening. I knew from the live feeds that Dan put up Memphis and Jerry, and that Memphis won the POV. So it's either going to be Keesha or Jerry going home. Meanwhile, right after Thursday's live show, Dan grabbed the envelope from under the Sumo wrestler's butt to learn that there was supposed to be a luxury competition. Well, Jessie came back to the BB house dressed up in a gorilla costume to participate in the competition. Jessie, the gorilla, took them outside where there were random statues all over the yard. The challenge was to use the clues (statues) to come up with a common phrase that has something to do with the Big Brother house. No all the clues had to do with the phrase, and as time went over, they would be covered up one by one. They had three hours to figure out the phrase, and when they figured it out, they had to ring the bell and give the phrase in the diary room. They had up to three tries to get the phrase. They would not know until after the competition who was the first to guess correctly. Memphis thought the gorilla was pretty funny. If only Jessie had been entertaining like that when he was first in the house. Jerry was the first to ring in, and his answer was "Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil." Keesha's first guess was "let sleeping dogs lie." Jerry rang again and gave the answer "diamonds are a girl's best friend." Keesha's second guess awas "blew it" because there was a blueberry and an IT. The female contortionist left, so Jerry's second guess was gone. Dan was of the opinion to not give an answer until you know the answer. Jerry gave a third guess of "a dog is a man's best friend." Jerry realized that he should have waited because all of his guesses were being covered up. Keesha's third guess was "don't count your chickens before your eggs are hatched." Memphis admitted that he sucked at word puzzles. Dan's first guess was "bury the hatchet." Memphis went to just give an answer to give one, and said "fruitless exit." Dan guessed at the end that it was Jessie when the gorilla made Jessie's bodybuilding poses right before leaving. Dan wins and goes to the diary room. He gets a helicopter trip to a remote, private beach trip. He can either take a current housemate or a jury member. Dan decides to take a jury member because he doesn't want to cause problems in the house. Dan thinks that he should take Michelle because she might appreciate the trip. Dan doesn't tell the others in the house that he is taking jury member. Dan tells them that he didn't want to create animosity in the house so he didn't take anyone in the house. Jerry said that Dan could be going to a private beach somewhere near the jury house. Jerry was surprised that Dan didn't take Memphis because they were attached to the hip. As Dan said, not telling the others could backfire when the other two get to the jury house. Dan and Memphis talk about who to put up, and what the others two think. Memphis tells Dan that the safest thing might be to put Memphis up on the block to make Keesha and Jerry not think that they have an alliance. So Dan put up Memphis to hide the alliance. Jerry said that he was surprised that Dan put up Memphis and that Jerry is going to use. Keesha and Jerry actually believe that Dan doesn't have an alliance with Memphis. So Memphis' plot worked.

Thursday, September 4, 2008 -- Evening

It was eviction night on Big Brother 10 this evening. The segment about Rennie and Keesha was very touching. They both really like each other and have been supportive of each other the entire time. The two shared a bottle of wine and got really teary-eyed. I really do like Renny because she has a fun personality, and really seems to be on the ball, even when she gets confused about the time difference between New Orleans and Hollywood. (She thought that it was 2 hours later as opposed to earlier--so she thought that it was 7 pm in New Orleans when it was 9 pm in Hollywood.) I am really going to miss Rennie because she is hilarious. Then we got to see a segment on Memphis that showed he is basically a nice guy. Memphis' girlfriend is a cute blonde, who is very tolerant and understanding of Memphis. While he was in the house, he seems to be appreciating what he has with her. The jury house was pretty laid back. Libra guessed everyone who came into the house, and kept on telling them, "I said it would be you." That must have irritated the piss out of people. What always gets to me are the petty comments made by April and Michelle, like commenting on Keesha's butt size. Girls, it's called jealousy. Of course, Renny was voted out by Dan and Memphis. She looked gorgeous with a short, black dress, and nicely styled hair. As she walked to Julie, she stopped to shake hands with folks in the crowd. The HOH competition is down to Memphis, Dan, and Keesha. The questions are based on pictures of this season's previous competitions that were placed on the memory wall. The final score on the seven questions was Dan 7, Memphis 6, and Keesha 1, which means that Dan is the new HOH. I like Dan so I'm glad that he won. Meanwhile, right before the commmercial break, we saw a Polynesian warrior sitting in the living room, waiting for the houseguests to enter. The guy is there to tell the houseguests about a luxury competition, which is a trip that has a twist to it. It looks like we have to wait until Sunday's show to find out what happens. The warrior guy tells them in his language that he is sitting on the information they need, but of course, they don't understand him. The next live POV and eviction ceremony will be on Tuesday, and on Thursday, we should know who the final two will be. The final episode is scheduled for Sept. 16.

Wednesday, September 3, 2008 -- Early Morning

I recorded the POV competition show from Big Brother 10 to watch today. The competition was one of those morphing picture competitions. Each baby photo was a compilation of a male and female houseguest. When we watched the houseguests compete, Jerry seemed to do the worse. However, Renny stupidly refused to believe that the old, bald, Jerry looking baby was Jerry. She used every male name, twice, before she finally used Jerry. Renny took 23 minutes and 32 seconds. Jerry took 8 minutes and 1 second. Dan took 2 minutes and 58 seconds. Memphis took 2 minutes and 50 seconds. Keesha took 5 minutes and 16 seconds. So it was down to Dan and Memphis. Keesha felt really horrible after losing the veto because she realized that the only way to save herself and Renny was to win the veto. As Memphis said, he wants to trust Dan, but he's not sure if Dan can be trusted. Memphis really wants Renny gone because he realizes that Renny can beat them in the final two. Memphis was saying that he has to see if he can still keep his deal Keesha and Jerry after pulling Dan off the block. Renny will obviously be going home because Memphis wants her gone. Memphis is right because Renny going to the end would definitely win. Good news about Thursday's episode. We get to find out what has been going on at the jury house. I love those segments because it is hilarious seeing the losers go at each other.

Sunday, August 31, 2008 -- Evening

On the Big Brother 10 show this evening, we saw the HOH competition that was won by Jerry. The houseguests were asked questions about the date that something happened in the BB house. They then had to roll a skeeball up a board into the correct answer. They received penalty points for the distance they were away from the correct answer. Dan was leading the competition until the final two questions, but then a fluke with the way the balls bounced gave Jerry the lead. Jerry then put up Dan and Keesha after making a deal with Memphis for final two. However, Memphis and Dan have a deal to go to the final two together. They have been together since the beginning of the game, and were originally friends with Brian in the first week. From watching the feeds, Memphis won the POV and is probably going to take Dan off. As Memphis said at the end of the show, he has a deal with Dan and with Jerry, and an agreement with Keesha. So Memphis is gunning to get Renny out of the game.

Friday, August 29, 2008 -- Early Morning

I woke up this morning to the horror of horrors: Jerry won HOH. I think that really sucks because he is one person for whom I have no respect or liking. I suppose that means that one of the people that I sort of like will be going home. My two favorites are Renny and Memphis, so I'm going to hope that they remain in the game one more week. Jerry, of all people. That really sucks! At least Ollie went home. It makes you wonder if they should have sent Jerry packing in the second eviction. I wonder if Ollie would have been easier to beat in the HOH.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 -- Evening

I'm one of those folks who can't watch the Big Brother 10 double eviction show because of football. The Steelers are playing their last pre-season game tonight. So I am keeping my eye on Joker's Updates where someone is posting as things happen. Michelle was evicted first with Memphis, Keesha, and Renny voting to evict. Keesha won the HOH competition. Now, she should nominate Jerry and Ollie, and she does. Waiting on the POV competition. I'm keeping an eye on Big Brother Network. The guy (or girl) is really good about updating the site, and it's not being hit with everyone in my state--Big Brother-less in Pittsburgh. Dan won the POV. That means that he probably won't be using it. Now the question is who will they vote out? Ollie or Jerry. It really sucks that Jerry would still be around, but the thing is that you know he would suck at any competition. So he is the one that you would want around. Great news! Ollie was evicted from the BB house. Boy, I would love to see the jury house when Ollie shows up. Jerry is really lucky though. He is the most foul-mouthed, scumbag that I ever saw on BB, and he's just coasting along because people keep on wanting to get rid of others. The only good thing is that Jerry has sucked at the competitions. I think coming up close in the HOH (he was tied with Keesha and had two tie breaks with her) probably took it out of him. No live HOH on the show. It's supposed to be later on the feeds. I'll keep an eye out for the competition or at least the results.

Tuesday, August 26, 2008 -- Evening

There have been fireworks in the Big Brother 10 house, and Ollie has been the troublemaker. After he stewed over how stupid he was (because he was incredibly dumb to think he was in charge when he wasn't HOH), he started trashing the house. In the past, folks have been given penalty nominations or thrown out of the house for such actions. However, Ollie appears to have suffered no repercussions. On the show tonight, they had the scheming, POV competition, and POV ceremony. Dan picked Rennie's name out of the bag, Memphis picked Keesha's name, and Jerry picked houseguest's choice. Jerry picked Michelle so she would win the POV, take him off, and since Ollie is supposedly "safe," then one of Dan's alliance would go up. As Dan said in his diary room confession, Ollie was incredibly stupid to believe that Dan would give him such power. I think that Ollie just hasn't watched the show before to know that the person who is in the last two of the endurance competition and who gives up, usually gets screwed in the end. Usually, they wind up as the replacement POV nomination and voted out of the house, or one of their alliance is thrown out. Remember Michelle and April this season? April promised to keep Jessie safe, and then put him on the block. Back to the POV competition. It was a puzzle completion competition. It was broken up with Dan, Michelle, and Keesha playing in one heat, while Memphis, Rennie, and Jerry play in the second heat. The winners of the heat compete against each other. Michelle claims to be such a great puzzle solver, but she was an idiot who couldn't get the pieces together. Keesha won the first heat. Memphis won heat 2. Rennie as even really trying. She was just trying to enjoy herself and wondering what she looked like. Jerry was completely useless and out of it. Jerry like Michelle, claimed to be good at puzzles, but he wasn't even close. Memphis won the POV, and in the diary room, Ollie was saying that he was giddy because he knew that he would have a say in the POV ceremony. So Dan came up with an idea to get everyone fighting. He asked Ollie to say Rennie's name, Michelle to say Keesha's, Keesha to say Michelle, and Rennie to say Ollie. Dan basically wanted to get the pressure off of himself. Dan then plays "Replacement Roulette" during the POV ceremony. He says everyone has to say a name, and if they don't, he will put them on the block. Ollie was smirking the whole time until Dan said that Ollie lost the bet, and Michelle was going on the block. We saw some short clips of Ollie going around breaking things. Ollie should be thrown out of the house for that. We found out during the show that there was a poll on the CBS BB website that allows the viewers to get involved in the HOH competition. Basically we get to vote on the answers to the questions in the competition. Also Thursday is a double eviction night, so tune in!

Monday, August 25, 2008 -- Late Afternoon

What an afternoon in the Big Brother 10! The POV ceremony just ended, and it seems that Michelle is now up on the block. Ollie and Michelle are really pissed over it. The only thing that would have been better was if Dan had put up Ollie. He didn't though, and Michelle runs up to Dan's HOH room to complain about being thrown under the bus. Ollie sat there and started to explain to Rennie, Keesha, and Memphis how he was in charge this week, how he was really the HOH, and how he was controlling everything. Ollie then tries to tell them that Dan lied to them. Meanwhile, as Keesha said, she's not on the block, Michelle is. It was hilarious because Ollie kept on telling them that he was supposed to be HOH, and Keesha said that maybe he shouldn't have fallen if he was supposed to be HOH. Ollie's thing was that Dan was a plant because Monica didn't exist. It was hilarious about how befuddled Ollie was. Great stuff!

Sunday, August 24, 2008 -- Evening

I have been watching the Big Brother 10 feeds this afternoon (since there weren't any Olympic broadcasts on TV), and it is rather interesting to see how Michelle has dumped her alliance with Memphis to join up with Ollie and Jerry. Ollie is so sure that he has the power in the house, and that he is going to be the person who makes the call on the houseguest who is put up on the block. The threesome have been talking away about how the others don't seem to realize how Ollie is in charge of the house, even though he isn't HOH. They really don't seem to realize that Dan is sticking with Memphis, Keesha, and Rennie. I would just love it if Dan puts up Ollie and Ollie is sent to the jury house. That would just be hiliarious. Meanwhile on the show this evening, they showed the results of the HOH competition. Jerry was complaining about the rope cutting into his groin. Jerry said that the circulation to his legs were totally cut off, and he had trouble walking at first. Jerry told Renny that's what happens when you are 75. Trouble started between Memphis and Michelle when Memphis accidentally got Michelle in the face with one of his water balloons. Michelle got all pissy about it, and Memphis said later in the diary room that Michelle should take a valium. Keesha fell shortly after Jerry when the swings smacked into the wall. Jerry came to help her because he knew how it felt on your legs. MIchelle got ripped off the swing when her sneaker got caught in some vines. Memphis just slid off the swing because his body had enough. Again, Jerry came to the rescue. So it was down to Ollie and Dan. Dan said later that his only agenda was to last one second longer. Ollie said that he didn't want to get "this close" and then quit. However, he made a deal with Dan because Dan gave up most of the power for HOH to Ollie. Ollie got to pick one of the nominees (Memphis) and is supposed to get the power to put up the replacement in POV. Memphis was rightfully pissed off about Dan putting him up. However, he said that he was putting his faith in Father Dan. You could only hope that Dan would have the smarts to break his deal with Ollie and put Ollie up in place of Memphis.

Saturday, August 23, 2008 -- Evening

There was a lengthy period of trivia on the Big Brother 10 feeds this afternoon, and I think that it was for the POV competition. It seems from things that people are saying that Memphis (who is on the block) won the POV. Now Ollie is telling Michelle that he gets to pick the person who goes up on the block if Memphis takes himself off. If Dan had any sense, he wouldn't do that. In fact, if I were Dan, I would put up Ollie and get everyone to vote him out. We'll have to see what happens, and if Memphis did indeed get the POV.

Friday, August 22, 2008 -- Morning

It seems that Dan won the HOH competition last night after three and a half hours. It seems that having gloves and a raincoat were some help. It came down to Dan and Ollie at the end, and Dan won out. Supposedly on the Showtime late night show, Dan and Ollie were making deals, giving Ollie some say in who goes up for nominations. We'll have to see if that actually pans out.

Thursday, August 21, 2008 -- Late Evening

Over two hours into the competition, and Ollie, Dan, and Memphis are still going strong. Memphis is entertaining himself on the swing by throwing water balloons provided by Jerry.

Endurance HOH continues

Thursday, August 21, 2008 -- Evening

It was eviction night on Big Brother 10, and not surprisingly, April was evicted with a vote of 4-1. Ollie was the only one who voted to keep April, probably because they were having sex all the time. The pair isn't very bright and didn't realize that the night vision cameras were catching them in the act, not once, but several times. What I think is funny is that they have been pretending it hasn't really been happening. Ollie asked April in his farewell speech if she would be his first girlfriend. I would think that she already is since they are having sex. The HOH competition is an endurance competition. The houseguests are sitting on a disk hanging from a rope. As usual with Big Brother, the houseguests are yanked up into the air and showered with water. I think this one is going to be a longer endurance competition because it doesn't seem like something very strenuous. Every now and again, the houseguests are swung into a cushioned wall. Next Thursday is going to be a double eviction night. Forty five minutes into the competition, Jerry, not surprisingly, is first out of the competition.

Start of Endurance HOH

Tuesday, August 19, 2008 -- Evening

Big Brother 10 was on this evening, and we got to see the POV competition. It was really funny to see Ollie competing for the POV and being scared shitless because he isn't a very good competitor, and he could tell that April would rip him apart for now winning for her. In a guessing elimination game (guess the number of an item--the person who is closest gets 1 point, the one farthest from the answer is out), it really came down to Jerry with 2 points, Ollie with 0 points, and Dan with 2 points. Dan won the POV and then had a conflict over using it. Dan wanted to use it to take Jerry off, but only if Rennie would put Ollie up. Rennie really didn't play along with Dan's questions. She wouldn't say if she had a deal with Ollie, or who she was thinking of putting up in Jerry's place. The only thing she would say is that if Dan used it, she would view Dan as a trader. So, of course, Dan didn't use the POV, and it is going to come down to Jerry and April on Thursday. Since the show is ending in around three weeks, they are going to have to start eliminating people more quickly.

Saturday, August 16, 2008 -- Morning

It seems that Dan won the POV last night. I would imagine that he's not going to use it, but it does make me wonder who will be voted out this week. I would think it should be April because her scheming makes her a more deadly enemy than Jerry. However, Jerry's one of those hanger-on type people who could just ease his way into the final four. The only thing would be that Jerry would have alot of difficulty with any endurance competition.

Friday, August 15, 2008 -- Late Evening

It seems from the live feeds that Renny nominated April and Jerry for eviction, and it seems that the houseguests are under lockdown now for a possible POV competition later this evening.

Thursday, August 14, 2008 -- Evening

I wasn't able to watch the live eviction on Big Brother 10 this evening because the preseason Steelers game was on the local CBS station. Instead, I had to keep my eyes on Joker's Updates to find out that Libra was evicted. Everyone was talking about evicting her, and she will become the first member of the jury. Finally something nice. Renny won HOH. It came down to her and Keesha, and Renny won out in the end. That is really nice because Renny misses her family, and everytime the HOH got letters from home, Renny would cry for the person. I wonder how Renny will turn things on its head. What she should do is nominate April and Ollie to break that team up. If one of them gets the POV, then maybe put up Jerry. It's going to be an interesting week.

Wednesday, August 13, 2008 -- Afternoon

I recorded last night's episode of Big Brother 10 to watch today. It was more of the same. The POV competition had the competing houseguests chopping onions and placing them in either a container to win the POV or a container to win a prize. The two contestants with the most in the prize box won something. Memphis had the most, and unfortunately, he picked the envelope with an onion necklace it in. April was second and got five designer outfits. The usual fighting happened with the girls at each other's throats. Jerry went on a power trip and wanted to have Dan voted out, even though Dan wasn't nominated. Tomorrow is eviction night, and it will probably be Libra who becomes the first jury member.

Monday, August 11, 2008 -- Evening

Although Jerry was talking about using the POV today, he wound up not doing it. The nominations are going to stay the same. The question becomes which of the pair are more likely to be voted out of the Big Brother 10 house. I'm figuring it will be LIbra because she is the one who really inspires others to hatred.

Monday, August 11, 2008 -- Early Afternoon

I am finally able to watch the live feeds during the day, and I almost poked out my eyes after seeing Jerry wandering around in his tighty whities. It was enough to scar me for life. I wish I got a picture of it, but unfortunately, I was too slow to the click. Jerry is already scheming. It seems that he is going to use the POV, probably to take Keesha off the block. He was in the storeroom telling Michelle he was going to do it. The conversation revolved around giving Dan his fair due and sending him packing this week. The POV should be later today.

Jerry

Sunday, August 10, 20008 -- Evening

There have been tons of fights on the Big Brother 10 live feeds. Unfortunately, they always happen later in the evening for me, so I have only been watching them on YouTube. Jerry won the POV competition, again! He's an annoying old man, but he manages to keep himself as a vital element. He's always willing to mix it up, and in the POV competitions, he's always willing to go for the POV as opposed to the other gifts and enticements. On this evening's Big Brother, there were lots of fights. April, MIchelle, Libra, Keesha, and Jerry just got into one fight after another. Jerry is just really going over board, saying that Dan should burn in hell for saying he would keep Jessie, then voting against him. When it came to the food competition, the stars from the past seasons were there. For season 1, it was Chicken George; season 2, Bunky; season 3, Amy; season 4, Jun; season 5, Jase; season 6, Janelle; all-stars, Boogie; season 8, Jen; and season 9, Matty. Dan went first for Monday and picked Boogie. The houseguests had to pick a former houseguest and decide if a story was in the news based on help from the star. Dan picked Boogie and lost food for the house because he thought the Brett Favre story was false (that Favre was going to the Jets.) Rennie picked Jen and won food for the house because of the question on gas prices. Jerry lost food when he picked Janelle and didn't believe her when she said that Jessie was not in the news for getting on the cover of Muscle and Fitness. Memphis picked Amy and played for a Grill. Amy made up some stupid story about Chinese officials banning bald, smelly taxi drivers during the Olympics. That story was actually true though. Ollie picked Matty for the Thursday food day. Matty told the story about Chinese story about scientists using lasers to prevent rain. Ollie didn't believe it, but it was true. Libra played for Friday with Bunky. She didn't want to believe Bunky when he said that Cheech and Chong were reuniting. Michelle played for a feast with Jase. She got the question that BB simulated an earthquake, which wasn't true. April picked Chicken George for Saturday. Her question was that Britney Spears was going to record a country album, and she believed Chicken George. Finally, it was Sunday and Keesha's turn. She picked Jun. The comment was that Paris Hilton told people not to vote for George Bush again. Only Rennie, Michelle, and Keesha got food for the house. After the game, back in the HOH room, Michelle and Memphis have a talk, but Michelle is not too bright. Rennie goes up to talk to Michelle and tries to remind Michelle that April was the one who put Jessie up. As Rennie said, April is full of crap that she didn't want Jessie to go home, but April put Jessie up. Rennie brought to Michelle's attention that April knew that Jessie was in trouble but didn't want Jerry to use the POV. Michelle ain't bright though, and didn't get it.

Saturday, August 9, 2008 -- Evening

The Big Brother 10 live feeds have had alot of trivia today. It's probably because the houseguests are participating in the POV competition. Keesha and Libra have not so suprisingly been nominated for eviction. It was pretty obvious that Michelle would do that because she feels that the people most responsible for Jessie leaving are Keesha and Libra. However, she should be blaming April, who put Jessie on the block. If Memphis was April's real target, then she could have put Dan up against him. Also, when Libra and Keesha went to April and said that they wanted to vote out Jessie, then April should have had her puppet, Jerry, use the POV to take Jessie off the block.

Thursday, August 7, 2008 -- Evening

It was eviction night on Big Brother 10. The show started out great. We got to see the live feed scheming by Libra and Keesha to get Jessie out. They got Renny and Dan to vote with them to give Memphis the four votes he needs. Jerry goes to talk to Dan afterwards and after alot of yakking things that Dan is on the side to vote out Memphis. What no one knows is that Dan is America's player, and he is going to have to vote the way the fans say. I think from reading the Big Brother websites that the majority of people are against Jessie, so we will see if that is actually the case. The fans did vote to evict Jessie, by a vote of 4 to 3, Jessie was out. What was funny was that during the interview with Julie Chen after the eviction, she didn't mention that Dan was America's Player. We found out that the houseguests were kept away most of the night by screams from fans who got to call in and make wake up messages. The HOH competition had the houseguests answering true and false questions about the wake up calls. Unfortunately, Michelle won the HOH. I would imagine that she'e going to e putting up Keesha and Libra, maybe Dan. Julie announced a twist to the game. There is going to be one houseguest from each of the previous nine seasons who will compete in a special competition with the current HOH. There will be more details on the Sunday show.

Wednesday, August 6, 2008 -- Evening

I watched Big Brother 10 last night, and boy was it interesting. Well, it was interesting in the sense that all the houseguests starting yelling and fighting with each other (well, fighting verbally.) It was hilarious, and the funniest moment was when Michelle asked the group as a whole if they knew what they were fighting about. Meanwhile, it was Keesha's birthday and between spirited yelling bouts, the houseguests sang happy birthday. It was truly hilarious. The fighting started because April was complaining in the HOH room about Jerry and Libra being two of the people picked to play in the POV competition. Yeah, the two are weak links, and April was doing a superb job of whining and being a cry baby about how she was the only one to fight for POV. Well, the real kicker was that Jerry and Libra were the final two to compete with Libra winning the competition. It was one of those deals where the winner could pick from the prizes that the others had won. Libra chose to take Michelle's Hawaiian vacation and that left Michelle with the unitard. Boy, even more whining, crying, and poor sportsmanship from Michelle at that one. She didn't want to embarass herself with a unitard. Heavens she could embarass herself by being a crybaby. Jerry as the second finisher took the POV after getting April to agree to give him and Libra a share of her $10,000 winnnings. It looks from the live feeds that Jessie will be the person going home, especially since America gets to control Dan's vote.

Sunday, August 3, 2008 -- Evening

Big Brother 10 was on this evening. Jessie was talking to Rennie at the start of the competition to figure out who she would nominate. Rennie said that she wasn't sure, and it might not be him. Meanwhile, Jessie keeps on talking throughout about which body parts are being exercised by the competition. Jerry was the first to bail at 26 minutes. As he said, he just couldn't hold out. Libra was being a baby the whole time, and she gave up at 33 minutes. What a sissy! Melissa commented that she knew that either she, Jessie, or Memphis needed to win. Dan admiteted that he needed to throw the competition, and that he felt safe as America's Player. Dan said that since he has been throwing the competitions, no one will come after him. Meanwhile, Weak Link, Libra, said that she believed that Dan threw the competition, and she claimed that something just wasn't right. Hmmm, but Libra didn't throw anything by giving up after 33 minutes. Ollie gave up at 55 minutes. Jessie meanwhile was whining and crying about being in pain. You would think that someone with muscles like that would have been able to hold on. Jessie claimed afterwards that it was a bogus competition. Renny just thought that it was amazing that the other guys were dropping but that she was still there. Memphis was out at 1 hour and 16 minutes. The interesting thing is that everyone of these people just gave up. It wasn't slipping or anything else. Just lack of willpower. Renny was the only one who slipped. She was trying to get the circulation back into her hands, and lost her grip. Renny was out at 1 hour and 58 minutes. Michelle and April make a deal. Michelle said that she can't hold out much longer, and April assures her that she won't put up Michelle. April swears to god that she would not put Michelle or Jessie up for eviction. (Liar.) Michelle, however, doesn't drop, and April says that she can't promise her more. Michelle just cries. Finally after 2 hours and 40 minutes, and a promise from April that she wasn't going, Michelle let go. Jessie came over and brought Michelle a drink and gave it to her. The celebration was very subdued, and there wasn't alot of loud cheering. Michelle cries and tells Jessie that April said that she wouldn't put up Michelle or Jessie. Michelle just kept on crying and saying that she couldn't use her hands. April comes over to hug Michelle, and Jessie thanks April (with Libra listening in.) Dan was given the assignment as America's Player to try to get Jessie nominated. So when Dan talks to April, he freaks her out, and she starts to think that Dan is acting really weird. When April goes to tell Keesha and Libra, they say that Dan must be a twist. Boy, the guy isn't very good at doing things. Keesha tells Memphis that the others might be going against him. Memphis tells Keesha that sometimes you need someone who isn't in your alliance to help you out. Memphis says that he thinks he will go up against Jerry or Dan. Meanwhile Keesha lets out to Memphis that it will probably be Jessie who would go up. Renny also lets Keesha know that April is talking about Keesha behind her back. April doesn't like how Keesha talks to Memphis. So Jessie and Memphis are nominated, and Michelle hopes that April wasn't lying when she said that Jessie wasn't the target. I would get rid of Jessie because he is the most annoying player, well, second only to Libra, and maybe April and Ollie.

Friday, August 1, 2008 -- Morning

I went to sleep because it looked like Renny, April, and Michelle were going to be hanging onto the building for a long time. From what I gather from reading various posts on the Internet, the Big Brother 10 HOH competition went on until around midnight. Renny was the first to drop off, and then an hour later, Michelle was done. April is now HOH and that means that probably Jessie, Michelle, and Memphis are going to go on the chopping block. I don't mind that as much as I mind Libra, a real loser, continuing on in the game. She really has been riding the coattails of her fellow players.

Thursday, July 31, 2008 -- Evening

Live eviction night on Big Brother 10 started off with a bang. Jerry has been getting on everyone's nerves by kissing the butt of whoever is in power. Well, he was telling Angie that she might not be going home, and Angie was explaining to Jerry that he was aligning himself with the wrong group of people. Lots of fireworks ensued when Jerry blamed Michelle, Jessie, and Memphis for the problems. Angie told the others what Jerry said. Libra and April start feeding crap to Keesha about Jessie in the hopes that Keesha will go against Jessie. During one of Julie Chen's commentaries, Julie told us that the airplane banner did not have anything to do with Big Brother. Finally, it's time for the live vote. Every single person voted to evict Angie. So obviously all the drama that Jessie caused did have an effect on the vote. Dan was the houseguest voted to be America's Player. Dan accepted the offer, and the possibility of getting $20,000. Dan'e first assignment is to get a houseguest nominated for eviction. We all get to vote on who that will be.

It's an endurance competition for HOH. The houseguests basically had to live on the edge, but staying on the edge of a building. It was fine until the building tilted over. At least the houseguests had a hand rail to hold onto, but then they had a simulation of an earthquake (because of the earthquake earlier in LA). The houseguests were dropping like flies after the shaking and the wind that blew up dust and garbage. Within an hour, everyone except for April, Renny, and Michelle were out (Jerry and LIbra were the first two because they are the biggest losers in the house.) It looks like the three women are there for the long haul.

HOH endurance competition

Tuesday, July 29, 2008 -- Evening

The latest episode of Big Brother 10 was on this evening. I haven't been watching the live feeds very much lately because I just haven't had the opportunity to do it during work. The HOH competition was an endurance one to a degree. The competitors (Keesha, Jessie, Angie, Libra, Ollie, and Memphis) were supposed to be flowers in a trough. They were buried in dirt, and then had water dripping on their heads. They were covered in worms and then composte. They had to stay in the trough for an hour but no more. Whoever was closest without going over would win. Keesha came out at 22 minutes, then around 55 minutes (or so she thought) Libra went out, followed by Jessie. Then it was Ollie, Angie, and Memphis. It seemed that everyone else was in the trough at least 15 minutes longer than needed. Jessie called out Libra in the competition. Keesha said that she nominated Jessie because he put up Steven. Jessie told Keesha that he put up Steven because Libra told him to do it. Jessie called Libra out while they were in the trough making Libra admit that she was the one who told him to put up Steven. However, Keesha is too stupid to see that Libra is the puppet master. I am not a Libra fan. In fact, I don't think I'm a fan of any of the houseguests. Jessie has been caught making anti-semetic remarks on the feeds, and none of the others is likeable (in my opinion.) So everyone starts talking to Keesha about putting Libra up. No one in the house likes Libra. However, Keesha feels a loyalty to Libra because Libra squeezed out a loyalty promise out of Keesha. The best part of the show was the fight between Memphis and Jerry. Jerry was going around telling everyone that Memphis is a womanizer. That really started an argument. I can see Memphis' point. As he said, Jerry doesn't know him. How dare Jerry say that about Memphis without knowing him. I'm not a huge Jerry fan either. The argument came right after a banner was flown over the BB house. Only Michelle, Angie, Jessie, and Memphis were outside. The foursome came up with a plot to say that the banner said "Libra is a liar. Love Steven." Memphis told them that wasn't really what the banner said. Memphis said it said "Libra and blank are liars. Love Steven." Memphis claimed that he couldn't make out the blank. Of course, none of that changed Keesha's mind. She made a deal with Libra, and she was going to stick with it regardless of how much it hurt her.

Unfortunately, the lame America's Player is back. There is a poll to choose America's Player. That player can accept to be America's Player for the week, and if the person accepts, he or she gets $20,000 and will have to do whatever they are told by "America" during that week. We should know who is America's Player on Thursday.

Sunday, July 27, 2008 -- Evening

This evening on Big Brother 10 Keesha admitted that lots of people kiss your butt when you are HOH, even when they didn't talk to you earlier. The interesting thing was when Keesha said that she didn't know how she would up, and Libra startedgetting nervous because she said that she didn't want Libra to be a loose cannon. Keesha said that she feels that there are a slew of people who are responsible for Steven going home. As Keesha said, the big group wanted Dan, Jerry, or Rennie to go home, but it wasn't their decision, it was her decision. Keesha shared her HOH letter from her parents with Rennie because she said that Rennie is closest to her, and Rennie is the one person in the house that she trusts. I really don't understand the Ollie and April relationship. They don't seem like a couple that belong together. Keesha really didn't seem to know who were friends and who weren't. Keesha decided to nominate Jessie and Angie. Keesha decided to follow her gut to make that nomination, and she felt that either Jessie or Angie needed to leave. Eviction night has been moved to Thursday. So the episodes are on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights. At least Thursday is a return to the usual eviction night. It was weird having the show on two nights in a row.

Friday, July 25, 2008 -- Evening

Intrigue in the Big Brother 10 house. Jessie and Angie have been put up for eviction. Jessie has been trying to get Keesha to see that Libra is the one who should go because she causes conflict, in the house, but Libra has already gotten into Keesha's head. The trio of April, Keesha, and Libra are buddy, buddy for now, and they probably won't backstab each other for a little bit. The POV competition is going on now, and the trivia is on the feeds.

Wednesday, July 23, 2008 -- Evening

It was eviction night on Big Brother 10. I have to admit that I really do not like the Libra, April, Ollie, and Keesha alliance. Libra really rubs me the wrong way because of her attitude. She never wants to take responsibility for her own actions. I hope that they get their comeuppance soon. The funniest part of the question/answer period was when April said that she liked to "conversate" with Ollie. Okay, then! We got to see Renny and Jessie's families. Renny's son, Sparky, said that Jessie was talking like a punk. We also found out that Jessie used to be a small kid who used to get picked on. Finally it was time for the live eviction vote. Everyone voted to evict Steven. As Steven left the house, the crowd cheered and applauded him. Steven was crying over the goodbyes. Keesha, April, Rennie, and Dan gave very nice farewells. As Dan said, he came into the house with preconceived opinions, but after getting to know Steven, he changed them. Dan said that he doesn't think of Steven as Gay Steven. Meanwhile, Jessie said farewell in a weird way, saying that he hoped that enjoyed helping Steven work out, and hopes that Steven can realize his potential because of the insight that Jessie gave him. It was really like a promotional piece for Jessie as opposed to a farewell for Steven. The HOH competition had the houseguests saying which rooms had once housed objects that were now missing. It came down to Keesha and Libra as the final two, and Libra guessed wrong on the answer leaving Keesha as the winner. Darn!

Wednesday, July 23, 2008 -- Morning

I watched Big Brother 10 last night, and things are really picking up. Dan used some strategy and threw the POV competition to appear to be a weak player. We got to see Libra's blowout with Renny and Jerry. It seems that Libra was complaining about how her team lost the food competition because they had two old people on the team. Jerry got really pissed and said something to her about how he is not slow and old. Yeah, he's old, but he says he's not slow. Well, Librar starting yelling and screaming at him. Libra is a psycho, power hungry woman, and I hope that she gets thrown out of the house soon. It seems that there was a plan afoot for Michelle to use the POV to take one of the guys off the block, and to put Libra up instead. However, when Steven approached Jessie and Michelle about it, that group backed off of the plan. It will be interesting to see who gets booted tonight, and then who wins the HOH. I think it would be hilarious if it was someone like Renny. That would really put the house in some turmoil.

Sunday, July 20, 2008 -- Evening

Big Brother 10 was on this evening. I loved how the show started with Rennie calling Jerry on the fact that he "didn't wear anything military" during the POV ceremony. As Rennie said, Jerry must have done that because he knew that he was breaking a vow. It was really funny because Jerry got all pissed and said that Brian backstabbed him. Obviously, Jerry is an idiot because Jerry backstabbed Brian--no two ways around it. Meanwhile Libra is constantly scheming. She is worse than Brian. The most irritating people are Libra, April, and Ollie because they are constantly talking about people. Jessie needs to realize that those people aren't really on his side. Jerry is a loser and doesn't realize it because when he was in the HOH room with Jessie, Libra, April, Ollie, Michelle, and Memphis, no one would talk. As soon as he left, Libra said "finally we can talk." Then he goes to the other group, and they don't talk around him. Jerry is the outsider. Of course, Jerry nominated Steve and Dan. It seems from the live feeds that Steve is the one who will be voted out.

Saturday, July 19, 2008 -- Evening

Jesse, the Big Brother 10 HOH, put up Dan and Steve for eviction. Michelle won the POV, but has been saying that she won't use it. Jesse is going to make the same mistake that others make. They get rid of people that others don't like instead of going for the players in the game, like Libra. That girl would be first on my list to go.

Tuesday, July 15, 2008 -- Evening

Another episode of Big Brother 10 was on tonight. Brian was obviously playing the game from the very beginning, and thought that he was flying under cover. He was too busy talking to everyone about whether he had the numbers. Unfortunately for him, that got tongues wagging. Brian made a big mistake by telling Angie that he had Jerry where he wanted him. Brian was going around trying to get everyone on his side by cutting deals while he's not even HOH. We saw Brian talk to Angie, Steve, Memphis, Ollie, and Dan. Brian was very stupid because he thought that he was calling the shots. The stupid part was where Brian was telling Ollie and Dan that he was calling the shots, and noone was going to take him out.

The POV competition was sticky. The houseguests had to under a fence, through a honey pool, rip open pillows, find a teddy bear, go back under the fence and through the honey to return the bear to a jar. They had to get five bears, and Jessie won. So Brian told Dan that he had it all under control because he could convince Jerry to nominate Memphis since Memphis was such a strong player. The problem was then Brian told, Ollie, Libra, April, Keesha, and Renny that Memphis would be going home. Libra was really offended by the way Brian was talking about how he could assure everyone that Memphis was going home. Libra tells the girls that they shouldn't do Brian's dirty work for him. The girls start talking and target Brian as the person who was the most intimidating and scary player. Libra tells April that she thinks Ollie is with Brian and Dan. April gets upset because Ollie didn't tell her about any alliance. April calls Ollie on it, confronting him in front of Libra. Ollie is attracted to April and is in her corner, but in order to prove himself to her, Ollie tells the truth to her and Libra. Ollie tells April and Libra that they need to flip the power play onto Brian. Ollie then tells Memphis that Jerry and Brian are in an alliance and that gets Memphis in action against Brian. Everyone except for Brian and Dan approach Jerry in the HOH room and spill the beans to Jerry about the things Brian has been doing. Jerry blindsides Brian by announcing at the POV ceremony that he has heard about Brian's scheming and was nominating Brian for eviction.

Monday, July 14, 2008 -- Afternoon

There is alot of scheming going on today on the Big Brother live feeds. It seems that Brian has been outed as liar. He has been going around telling people a variety of different things, and trying to make everyone think that they are safe around him. Although stuff like that may work in real life where people aren't stuck in the same house with each other, backstabbing quickly becomes apparent in the Big Brother house. Brian is now trying to save himself from going on the block, and Jessie is campaigning to stay in the house--using Brian's remarks and the feelings that others have for Brian to Jessie's advantage. Meanwhile it seems that Jerry has won the POV, and lots of campaigning is going on to have Jerry vote a certain way if there is a tie. Jerry was just talking to Michelle in the HOH room, and it seems that Jerry would vote for Rennie to stay in the house, and get rid of Jessie. At the same time, Jerry feels very used by Brian. Also, the Brian, Steve, and Ollie alliance is outed, and Ollie is trying to quickly distance himself from the alliance. That's what happens to early alliances in the Big Brother house. All in all, it is starting out to be a very interesting season.

Scheming takes center stage

Sunday, July 13, 2008 -- Evening

Big Brother 10 started this evening. I just love the show. It wouldn't feel like summer to me without Big Brother. Julie Chen was making a big deal of how this is the first Big Brother since BB3 where the houseguests don't know each other. From the intro to the houseguests at the beginning of the show, no one really stood out as someone I would like and root for. There were a few of them, maybe even quite a few, that I really don't like. Rennie is one of them. She's an older woman--early 50s, and she had a low cut dress with her boobs spilling out over the top. Then there's Libra, the extreme democrat who has four kids. One of the babies is only a few months old, and the woman is leaving it to the father's care. One of the big unexpected twists was that the houseguests had to pick the HOH before they went into the house or talked to each other. All houseguests had to go to a counter and vote for HOH based on looks. They could not vote for themselves, and they didn't find out immediately who was HOH. Once the houseguests got into the house, it was very obvious that Rennie was very annoying. She was making rude remarks to the others, and she had a very abrasive sounding voice. Jerry was the most fun though. Jerry is 75 years old, and when April (who has really huge boobs that she said were natural) made Jerry feel her boobs. Jerry went along with it, and said that the boobs were indeed real. Rennie thought that Jerry did something highly inappropriate though.

The first competition started, and it was a competition to win one of the classic cars. One of the houseguests had to sit out, and Jessie volunteered. But he was really upset with himself when he found out that he couldn't win the game. After they were told the rules of the game (pulling the car from inside of it, and losing one person at a time until the end. Then at the end, the other houseguests push the car. The winning team also gets food for the week while the other team gets slop. Rennie was forced to drop out of the red car, and she didn't seem happy at first, but she wasn't pulling or doing work. Meanwhile, Memphis was being really annoying, saying that he wanted the car. He seems like he's really going to be annoying. The red team won food, and Memphis won the car.

We found out who was HOH. Rennie was in second place with three votes, and Jerry won HOH with four votes. Jerry said that being HOH lets him pick who he wants to go to the end with. Jerry said that he's not the typical 75 year. He seems very fit, and was shown at the beginning of the show doing pushups with his grandson on his back. Jerry is also a huge fan of BB and has watched all the episodes. Dan talked to Brian and Ollie about forming an alliance. Dan said that he could tell from the blacks of Ollie's eyes that he would be true to the end. Hmm, funny when you don't know a person that well. Renny was annoying folks at night by talking alot, and having a loud voice during the night with a cackling laugh. Jessie tried to talk to Renny about being quiet at night when people are trying to sleep. Rennie tolk Jessie to "come on, lighten up, give me a break." Rennie thought that Jessie was such a baby.

Brian starts talking to Jerry, and Brian makes a deal with Jerry. Jerry wants to get rid of Dan, but Brian talks him out of it. Jerry says that you should get rid of conflict, and he thought that Rennie picked on Jessie alot. I would get rid of Renny because she is one weird cookie. Jerry nominated Jessie and Rennie for eviction because of the conflict between them. Jerry thought his nominations were safe because he thought that Jessie and Rennie would self-destruct. Meanwhile Brian was smirking the whole time because he felt that he was behind the nominations and that Jerry was showing that he was committed to the alliance.

Tuesday, July 8, 2008 -- Morning

It's almost time for the Big Brother 10. I have to admit that it wouldn't seem like summer without Big Brother. The cast was finally announced this morning, and it seems like a diverse bunch. The most notable is 75 year old Jerry. Yeah, you read that right. They are going to have a 75 year old guy on the show this season. Jerry originally comes from Texas, but now lives in Wilkes Barre, Pa., near Philadelphia (at the other end of the state from me). Jerry is retired (duh), and takes care of his wife who was just diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. I wonder who is taking care of her while he's on the show. She might not need alot of help though at this stage, so she might just have family looking out for her. For the most part, the others are mid to late 20s with only a few outliers, a guy who is 22, another who is 35, and a woman who is 53. The cast does seem like an interesting one, and I can't wait to see how they get along. The house also looks interesting. Julie Chen also gave the viewers a tour of the house. It looks really neat. The rooms are setup to represent different decades. The kitchen is right out of the 1950s, and the bedrooms have a 1980s feel to them. So now, I'm exctied, and I can't wait for the season to start this coming Sunday.
